Mid-Level Associate - Litigation

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a charming personality with 2nd chair trial experience, with an emphasis on insurance defense and transportation law. This role requires exceptional communication skills. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities for a complex caseload, with the assistance of senior trial counsel. Duties Develop complex cases with the understanding trial may be required and every trial must be won. Take and defend trial depositions. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Assist in the negotiation of settlements and represent clients in court proceedings. Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials. Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and gather necessary information. Participate in client meetings and assist in the preparation of trial materials. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Prior experience in a law office environment is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in litigation processes and legal drafting. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Excellent writing skills with a keen attention to detail in legal documentation.
