The role is fully remote, allowing you to create a balanced lifestyle while providing high-quality care through our telehealth services. You will connect with clients using secure video conferencing tools, ensuring a professional and confidential environment. The typical work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility expected to meet patient needs. Our workshops and supervision sessions, conducted online, enhance team cohesion and professional development from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and goals, aiming for a comprehensive understanding of each individual’s circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting modalities to fit the diverse preferences and backgrounds of clients.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and therapeutic support groups, fostering community and shared learning among participants facing similar mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to develop an integrated care approach for each patient, maximizing their potential for recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support during mental health emergencies, ensuring that clients feel safe and supported when they need it most.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic records in compliance with HIPAA requirements, documenting each client's progress and treatment plans accurately.

• Engage in regular professional development activities, including team meetings and case consultations, to refine therapeutic skills and stay current with the latest mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist within our organization, you will work primarily with adults, couples, and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Our patient population is diverse, comprising individuals from different cultural backgrounds, socio-economic statuses, and life experiences. This necessitates a flexible and empathetic approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory for this role.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders along with proven experience in administering evidence-based treatment interventions across various populations.
