Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to thoroughly understand clients' mental health challenges, stressors, and support needs, ensuring tailored intervention strategies are employed.

• Facilitate mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to help clients effectively manage their stress and promote emotional resilience.

• Guide clients through individual mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and breathing techniques, encouraging self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Organize and lead group workshops that focus on mindfulness practices, stress reduction techniques, and personal resilience-building strategies.

• Collaborate with other professionals within the clinic, integrating mindfulness practices into a holistic treatment plan to achieve comprehensive client care.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and mindfulness exercises utilized, ensuring a thorough record of progress and interventions.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice, self-reflection, and professional development to stay abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in mindfulness therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse range of clients at Beaumont Mental and Wellness Center, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health issues. Our clients come from various age groups and backgrounds, presenting unique challenges and goals. Your focus on mindfulness will help clients cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and their emotions, significantly impacting their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington state.
\n
• Proficiency in mindfulness practices, with a strong desire to integrate these techniques into therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create a calming and supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Some training or certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
