Key Responsibilities\n

As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, your duties will encompass various aspects of mental health counseling, including:

• Conducting initial intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Providing individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions primarily through telehealth platforms.
\n
• Offering a range of therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, thereby addressing a myriad of clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Maintaining clear, accurate documentation of sessions, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in accordance with federal, state, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will include individuals from diverse backgrounds, ages, and with varying mental health challenges. You will work with clients who may be experiencing stress, conflict, and emotional distress due to life transitions, personal trauma, or mental health disorders. This diversity enriches your practice and allows each therapeutic interaction to be meaningful, as you tailor your approach based on individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Active licensure in your state as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, with demonstrated proficiency in delivering psychotherapy and conducting evaluations.

• Strong analytical and case conceptualization skills to create effective treatment plans.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, previous experience with teletherapy, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and involvement in community mental health initiatives are beneficial.
