HR Generalist

Position Summary: The HumanResources Generalist is primarily responsible for reviewing candidateapplications, processing onboarding credentials for new hires, obtainingnecessary references and compiling basic credentialing information to determineif the candidate meets specific company and client requirements. Inaddition to securing valid references upon initial application, the HRGeneralist is also responsible for securing updated credentials for employeesrequired to ensure compliance with internal policies, state and federal laws,regulations and standards.


Qualifications: The HR Generalist must have anAssociates or Bachelor's degree, Previous experienced is preferred

• Ability towork as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities

• Send,Receive and review applications and client requirements and contacts candidatesfor any additional supporting documentation or clarification
• Reviewsapplications to ensure the candidates meet basic eligibility requirements
• Callssupervisors and peers to obtain verbal references for candidates
• Effectively communicates with all departments to ensure teamwork andefficiency, disseminates out all necessary information to the appropriatedepartments
• Responsiblefor maintaining and tracking of expiration dates for employees of licenses,certificates, annual physicals, PPD/Chest X-rays, insurance, etc and follows upwith staff regarding expiring documents to ensure compliance
• Conductsall professional background investigations related to the credentialing ofstaff such as license verification, professional reference checks, ChauncyRegistry, OMIG, OIG, SAM, Sex Offender Registry and other required queries
• Recordsand files all incoming correspondence and documents gathered for thecredentialing of staff
• Creationof HR Templates for company wide use
• Performsaudits regarding compliance for all documents required for new applicants andcurrent staff
• Assists inmaintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the credentialing systems andother HR functions
• Work withcompany staff on Scheduling Optimizer and issues through companyplatform. Help facilitate all transfers, status changes and secondarypositions for staffing as needed.
• UploadWeekly and send Monthly K-Check Reports
• Overseeand monitor work performance of Agency Credentialist
• Coordination with Schools for Internship for fieldwork
• Performsother duties as assigned.
