Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, determining their severity and specific mental health needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on achievable and meaningful goals tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide clients with effective strategies for managing their mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, disseminating important information about treatment options, and emphasizing self-care practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress within the telehealth framework, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with ethical standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care that addresses both their psychological and medical needs.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share best practices, learn new techniques, and support one another in enhancing clinical skills.

• Actively advocate for clients, working to diminish stigma associated with mood disorders and promoting resource access for mental health support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, contributing to a rich tapestry of experiences that inform our therapeutic approaches. Understanding this diversity is crucial in tailoring your interventions to meet the different cultural, emotional, and psychological needs of your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current, valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York state.

• You should have at least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in the specialized area of mood disorders.
\n
• A strong command of evidence-based treatment methodologies such as CBT and DBT is essential.
\n
• A thorough understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatric professionals is necessary.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport with clients of all backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for the position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus as part of our commitment to attracting top talent.
