Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers flexible working conditions, including remote options to accommodate various schedules. While most sessions can be conducted from the comfort of your home, you will also be required to attend our outpatient office in San Jose as needed, fostering a holistic balance between telehealth and face-to-face interactions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and identify suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and customize individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and patient-specific therapeutic needs.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and foster healing.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies while maintaining a calm and supportive presence.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resource availability to empower them throughout their healing journeys.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to contribute to professional development and stay current with trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly in trauma-informed care.

• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive mental health care.

• Familiarity with providing therapy to couples is advantageous; training will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
