Sr Director, Software Engineering - Java OMS

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 10+ years of applied experience.
• We bring 5+ years of experience leading technologists to identify, anticipate, and solve complex technical challenges within our area of expertise and across the wider organization.
• We have hands-on experience developing Java applications.
• We possess expert-level knowledge of data structures, synchronization, network communication protocols, multithreaded programming, and object-oriented design.
• We have experience building large-scale, highly available distributed systems with dynamic quality of service and linear scaling for availability and reliability.
• We are proficient with development toolsets such as Gradle, Jules, and DevOps.
• We have experience with equities order management systems and market structure.
• We have delivered low-latency, high-performance, high-capacity Core Java OMS components, including order management, workflows, and instrumentation.
• We have worked closely with Portfolio Trading and Program Trading stakeholders to deliver OMS capabilities that improve execution efficiency and workflow automation.
• We have supported and enhanced ETF trading workflows, including RFQs and creation/redemption lifecycle processes.
• We have overseen end-to-end wholesale technical execution, including full-stack and GUI workflows using Web/React, and leveraged KDB/Analytics for real-time monitoring, operational insight, and trading analytics.

• We lead multiple technology implementations across workstreams to achieve our technology and business goals.
• We directly manage multiple areas with a strategic transactional focus and a strong emphasis on accelerating delivery.
• We provide leadership and direction to teams while overseeing multiple platforms at both a high level and in detail.
• We serve as the interface for stakeholders and partners, building agreement across competing priorities.
• We manage multiple stakeholders, complex programs, and large cross-product collaborations.
• We influence peer leaders and senior stakeholders across our business, product, and technology teams.
