This position supports a fully remote work setting, leveraging telehealth technology to conduct sessions and facilitate interactions with clients. Our practice utilizes secure electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, ensuring confidentiality and effective management of patient records. You will be equipped with the necessary tools to conduct therapy sessions, manage documentation, and collaborate with colleagues in real time. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their mental health history and needs from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Perform thorough evaluations of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, determining the most effective approaches for intervention.

• Design individualized treatment and recovery plans tailored to the unique circumstances of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Lead and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions while helping clients navigate challenges in a supportive atmosphere.
\n
• Regularly monitor and assess client progress and treatment efficacy, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies as needed.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Manage referrals and follow up with healthcare providers for clients requiring additional support or services.
\n
• Identify potential behaviors that may hinder client recovery and develop proactive strategies to address them.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges they face associated with their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily focuses on assisting a diverse clientele in Bellevue, Washington, and surrounding areas who may be facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other emotional challenges. You will work with individuals across different life stages, providing care that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences, contributing positively to their journeys toward healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Examinations: A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Experience: Significant prior experience in mental health counseling or therapy is strongly preferred.
\n
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in the use of electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, is essential for managing client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients experiencing co-occurring mental and physical health conditions or addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the best practices and ethical standards set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects as prescribed by medical doctors.

• Demonstrated excellence in both written and verbal communication, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills that reflect compassion and empathy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus.
