Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on comprehensive assessments, ensuring alignment with each client’s goals and needs.

• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions for diverse client populations, which may include individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Engage in active collaboration with a range of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide integrated and holistic care.

• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical records, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development, including workshops and webinars, to stay current on advancements in mental health practices and enhance treatment techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range from children to adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will involve assessing and providing targeted support to these individuals and families as they navigate their unique journeys. Special emphasis is placed on trauma-informed care and culturally sensitive approaches to ensure every client feels understood and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A valid New York State license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in clinical counseling settings.

• Proficiency in understanding and adhering to ethical and legal guidelines in mental health practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
