Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement and/or site management when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior. Support access control and security-related screening activities, assist with de-escalation when appropriate, and complete detailed incident and activity reports. Minimum Requirements Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
