Work Environment

Located in the beautiful setting of Jupiter, Florida, our outpatient clinic is designed to foster healing and recovery. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and therapy tools, creating an inviting space for both therapists and patients. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic, and we maintain a culture that values collaboration and continuous learning among team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of incoming patients to establish personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and needs.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities to enhance motion and mobility, thereby reducing reliance on pain medications.
• Design and implement individualized fitness and wellness programs, enhancing patients' overall health and preventing future injuries.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment approaches as needed, ensuring that care plans are always up-to-date and effective.
• Advise patients on lifestyle modifications that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship by actively listening to patient concerns and providing emotional support throughout their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Comfort Care Physical Therapy, you will work primarily with a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of both adolescents and adults, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate, personalized care aimed at stage-specific rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is preferred.
• Must hold an active state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation and related therapies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and understand the unique challenges they may face.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced rehabilitation techniques and technologies, such as dry needling, sports therapy, or aquatic therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation practices to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Additional certifications (e.g., CSCS, OCS) can be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding financial package, we provide:
