Work Environment

Your work will be conducted onsite at our outpatient office in Clifton, NJ. This modern facility is equipped with the latest physical therapy equipment and technology to support your clinical practice. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured yet fulfilling schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' individual goals and needs, and develop tailored care plans.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity.
• Create and implement wellness programs designed to promote fitness, flexibility, and preventive care, aimed at reducing the risk of future injuries.
• Provide hands-on therapy and rehabilitation interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Motivate and support patients through their recovery, encouraging them to overcome obstacles and achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, evaluations, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and coordinate service delivery.
• Stay current with best practices in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation through ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from a wide range of orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. You will work with patients of varying ages, backgrounds, and physical capabilities, promoting a holistic approach to their recovery. By prioritizing individualized treatment plans, you will help clients regain functionality, independence, and a better quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a demonstrated ability to treat musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Proficiency in patient assessments, treatment planning, and executing therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to diverse patient personalities and needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth services is a plus.
• Advanced certification in orthopedic physical therapy or related specialization is encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience, along with bonuses based on performance.
