Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.Progressive Care Unit. 15 bed unit. 3 Step down ICU; 12 telemetry. 1:4 for Progressive Care; 1:3 for Step down ICUShift or schedule requirements: Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. No call.General job duties: Types of procedures required. Primary Nursing care, Telemetry monitoring, Telemetry strip reading, Fingerstick blood sugar.Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Meditech charting, Pyxis for medications, BIPAP, Continuous cardiac monitoringRequired skills and minimum years of experience: At least 1 year hospital acute care within the last year. Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred.Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: ACLS preferred, current PALS preferred, NIHSS certification preferredFloating to other units/departments: Yes, will float to all acute units in house. Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU and ER possibleDress Code: Scrubs
