Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the behavioral health needs of students, leveraging established clinical interview techniques and collateral information from families and educators.

• Implement clinical interventions, managing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to provide personalized care that aligns with the unique challenges faced by students and their families.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, which includes educators, school psychologists, and community providers, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive support.

• Provide case management services by researching, advocating, and referring clients to essential community resources such as healthcare services, food assistance programs, and parenting support.
\n
• Respond to urgent crisis situations effectively, employing intervention strategies for cases of child abuse, acute mental health crises, and other emergencies.

• Monitor progress and outcomes by following up with clients regularly to ensure the effectiveness of treatment strategies and adjust care plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents, as well as their families. Our client population often faces a range of challenges including emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, trauma-related stress, and significant life changes such as parental divorce or the impact of medical conditions. Your work will be critical in helping these young individuals build resilience and find their strength amidst adversity.

Qualifications\n

• An earned Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program.

• California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting, specifically with school-aged children and their families.

• Demonstrated ability and experience working effectively with Veterans is highly valued.
\n
• Proficiency in conducting psychosocial assessments, applying suicide risk assessments, and utilizing forensic methods when necessary.

• In-depth knowledge and skill in delivering individual, group, and family therapy.
\n
• Familiarity with community resources to effectively assist clients in acquiring the support they need.

Compensation and Benefits\n
