Accounting Assistant

Job Description Job Description Pittsburgh area law firm is in need of an Accounting Support Associate to assist with day-to-day accounting and client accounts activity.

Duties to include:
Enter check information and associated disbursements in accounting software
Update and maintain client information
Prepare operating deposits accurately and timely
Assist with clean-up of outstanding expense allocations and credit card transactions
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
3+ years of like accounting support experience
Proficient QuickBooks and MSOffice skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
Professional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on providing outstanding customer service.
Adheres to all government and industry regulations, including settlement disbursements and the protection of regulated sensitive data.
Solid understanding of and adherence to Generally Acceptable Accounting Principles
Maintain confidentiality of all Confidential Information of clients and of the company.
Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficient organizational and time management skills.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
