SaaS Project Manager SaaS UpgradesLocation: Boston, MA Work mode: OnsiteRole Summary: Responsible for end to end delivery of SaaS upgrade projects across a portfolio of clients, with full ownership of project milestones, deliverables, schedule, and budget. Leads cross functional teams spanning multiple departments to ensure successful execution of upgrades in line with agreed scope and timelines. Acts as the primary point of accountability for client engagements, overseeing planning, governance, execution, and communication throughout the upgrade lifecycle. Ensures alignment between client expectations and internal delivery teams while proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage end to end delivery of SaaS upgrade projects, ensuring adherence to defined milestones, deliverables, timelines, and budgetEstablish and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategiesLead cross functional project teams composed of internal departments (engineering, operations, QA, infrastructure) and client stakeholdersServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, consistent, and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycleDrive project governance, including status reporting, steering updates, and escalation frameworks to ensure timely decision makingManage stakeholder expectations across scope, schedule, and delivery outcomes, ensuring alignment between business and technical teamsIdentify, track, and actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and mitigationAct as the first level of escalation for project related issues, coordinating resolution across internal teams and client stakeholdersOversee resource planning and utilization across multiple concurrent projectsEnsure adherence to the Charles River Upgrade Methodology and continuously drive improvements based on delivery experienceCoordinate with technical leads and delivery teams to ensure readiness for key milestones, including testing, validation, and go liveMonitor and control project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and variance managementDrive high quality delivery standards, ensuring projects meet client expectations and internal quality benchmarksFacilitate lessons learned and promote reuse of best practices, standard project plans, and delivery artifactsContribute to the ongoing development and scaling of SaaS delivery practices, tools, and methodologiesLeverage collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint and internal platforms) to improve transparency, knowledge sharing, and execution efficiencyRequired Skills:Experience Strong project management experience delivering complex, enterprise SaaS implementations or upgradesProven ability to lead cross functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projectsSolid understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery lifecycle managementExperience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies in a structured mannerStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levelsExperience within financial services, investment management, or trading systems is highly preferredAbility to operate in a fast paced, client facing environment with a strong focus on delivery and outcomesStrong problem solving, organizational, and decision making capabilitiesHigh level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detailThe pay range for this role is ***- *** per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. *** also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law).
