Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial client appointments to determine their mental health status, needs, and therapeutic goals.

• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans that encompass various therapeutic techniques relevant to each client's unique challenges.

• Hold regular sessions with clients to provide ongoing support, feedback, and necessary adjustments to the treatment plan, facilitating effective paths to recovery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to ensure an integrated approach to client care, which may include referrals for medication management when indicated.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all client interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development sessions, sharing insights and strategies to enhance team effectiveness in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health issues. Your clientele may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders, among other conditions. Through your therapeutic interventions, you will help clients develop coping strategies, cultivate resilience, and promote overall mental health wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of four years of related experience in the mental health field.
\n
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, with an emphasis on cultural competency in therapeutic practice.

• Capable of delivering both individual and group therapy sessions that embrace inclusivity and responsiveness to the diverse backgrounds of clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
