Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy to clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, working towards effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices.

• Create, implement, and regularly review treatment plans, adapting interventions based on client progress and feedback.

• Engage actively in multidisciplinary team collaborations, sharing insights from individual cases to enhance collective treatment efforts.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision, peer consultations, and team meetings to ensure high-quality care delivery and ongoing professional growth.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that complies with legal, ethical, and HIPAA standards—timeliness and accuracy are critical.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPCC at The Beacon Institute for Mental Health, you will work with a diverse caseload of clients, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds who may be coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will entail fostering a welcoming environment where clients feel safe to explore their mental health concerns and work towards achieving their personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Current California LPCC license in good standing.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in managing diverse mental health issues.

• Strong understanding of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

• Exceptional clinical judgment, communication skills, and cultural competence to effectively engage and support clients.
