Category User Growth Project Intern (TikTok Shop - US Operation) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Responsibilities Support user growth strategy by conducting data-driven analyses and identifying actionable business opportunities. Analyze user lifecycle, acquisition, retention, and purchasing behaviors to identify key growth drivers. Conduct industry and category analyses to evaluate growth opportunities across users, products, merchants, channels, and categories. Identify high‑potential acquisition products, merchants, and supply characteristics to support category growth initiatives. Build analytical frameworks to answer business questions and translate findings into strategic recommendations. Write SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large‑scale datasets. Prepare business review materials, strategy presentations, and executive‑ready insights. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Business Strategy, Category, Product, Marketing, and Data Science on high-impact growth initiatives. Support ad hoc analyses and strategic projects as business needs arise. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Strong analytical thinking and structured problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis. Experience using Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) for data analysis. Ability to work independently and time‑manage high‑profile initiatives; curiosity and bias‑for‑action mindset. Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content‑based e-commerce is highly preferred. Benefits & Compensation Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern: The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75‑$23.75. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day‑one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
