Accounting Manager (Fixed Assets)
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager (Fixed Assets) to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $85.00 to $120.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management and financial reporting activities.
- Manage and track fixed asset records, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Lead month end and period end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Review and analyze account balances and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Utilize accounting systems to support financial reporting and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of accounting experience with exposure to fixed asset accounting.
- Strong understanding of general ledger processes and financial reporting practices.
- Previous experience working with enterprise accounting systems, including SAP or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review and interpret financial data.
- Effective communication skills for working with cross functional teams.
- Organized and proactive work style with strong time management abilities.
- Prior experience supporting process improvements and system related tasks.
