What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, including sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, and post-op patients
• Support wound management, including JP drains, vacs, and catheter care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalist
• Document patient care accurately in EMR system (Meditech Expanse)
• Assist with unit orientation and support float coverage across units as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and charting protocols

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience (first-time travelers require this too)

Preferred:

• Experience with wound management, IV insertions, and hemodialysis catheter care
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, Pyxis medication system
