Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address unique mental health issues.

• Deliver psychotherapy services through various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy, to assist clients in overcoming mental health and dual disorders.

• Utilize best practices in crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, and supportive therapy to ensure clients receive holistic treatment.

• Employ telehealth technology and electronic health records to maintain accurate clinical documentation and facilitate client engagement.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical psychologists and psychiatric professionals, to optimize client care.

• Provide clinical consultation regarding sociocultural determinants impacting client interactions and treatment outcomes.

• Maintain active communication with relevant agencies and community resources to support comprehensive client care.

• Actively participate in quality management activities and clinical team meetings to uphold high standards of care and share clinical insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily serve clients dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Given our focus on veterans and their families, you will be working with individuals who often face complex life circumstances and transitions.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid LMFT or Psy.D license to practice in New York State.

• Possess a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing psychotherapy services, specifically in outpatient settings.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and managing electronic health records for effective client management.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities and approaches, particularly those relevant to family and couples therapy.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
