The work environment is primarily remote, allowing flexibility for our team members to maintain a work-life balance while delivering high-quality therapy services. Although the work is conducted from your home office, you will also have the option to work from our outpatient facility in Long Beach, ensuring a comfortable setting tailored for therapy sessions. All clinicians are equipped with the tools necessary to effectively perform online sessions through secure, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platforms.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wester Mental Psychological Service, your key responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with clients through active listening and empathy.
\n
• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders accurately and efficiently.
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans based on assessments and clients' unique circumstances.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, and families using evidence-based practices.
\n
• Monitoring client progress through regular check-ins and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals and referring clients to additional resources or specialists as required.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in providing individual and/or group therapy services.
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills to effectively manage a caseload.

• Proficiency in using digital tools and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, preferred candidates will have:

Compensation and Benefits\n
