Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing clinicians to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Therapists have the flexibility to determine their own caseloads, which can range from 10 to 30 billable hours each week, depending on individual capacity. All therapeutic services at Veterans Crisis Intervention, Inc. are conducted via telehealth to accommodate both clinician and patient convenience. In addition, we offer opportunities for collaboration through virtual or in-person consultations with peers to enhance professional development and allow for teamwork in analysis and discussion regarding client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and provide psychotherapy services that may include case management, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions for individual, family, or group settings.

• Deliver high-quality crisis interventions, brief therapy sessions, supportive therapy, skills training, couples counseling, and family therapy, utilizing a diverse set of evidence-based modalities.

• Collaborate closely with a licensed psychologist, nurse practitioner, or physician to ensure high standards of care, adhering to organizational, departmental, and regulatory guidelines.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all client interactions, including preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and using electronic health records efficiently.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment planning and decision-making processes.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health care, actively participating in clinical team meetings, quality management activities, and continuous professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinical services cater to a diverse range of individuals and families facing mental health challenges, including but not limited to veterans, active service members, and their families dealing with dual diagnoses and other related disorders. You will play a pivotal role in supporting members undergoing distress via evidence-based interventions. Understanding and addressing the unique needs of this population is crucial for achieving positive outcomes in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) or Psy.D in the state of Arizona is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing psychotherapy is a prerequisite for this position.

• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is highly desirable.

• Experience working with veterans or military families in a clinical setting is a plus.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices.

• Experience in crisis intervention or related fields will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
