Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs based on physician referrals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patients' functional and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercises, modalities, and education.
• Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to maximize patient outcomes.
• Regularly consult with and educate patients and their caregivers about treatment protocols and recovery processes.
• Meet clinical productivity goals while maintaining the quality of care.
• Stay current on industry trends and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, but you will also have the chance to treat a diverse range of special populations, including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. The unique variations in patient diagnoses will grant you the experience and expertise to address multifaceted conditions and to develop tailored therapeutic strategies that promote optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Proficiency with word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A strong commitment to building positive relationships with patients, enabling them to exceed their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or evidence-based care methodologies is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to connect emotionally and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Proven capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
