Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing personalized therapeutic plans to address specific physical limitations and pain management needs.
• Implement and oversee treatment programs using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise, and patient education.
• Document patient progress systematically, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while using digital health record systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to enhance patient treatment outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
• Educate and engage patients and their caregivers in managing and understanding their conditions, empowering them for active participation in the recovery process.
• Meet established utilization and productivity goals to support the overall goals of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will cater to a diverse patient population, including but not limited to orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, and sports medicine cases. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your compassionate care will help these individuals regain mobility and improve overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring adherence to state regulations and standards.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting specializing in physical therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility with a focus on orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families, encouraging them to exceed their recovery goals.
• Active participation in continued education and professional development to stay ahead in the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong base salary, our compensation package includes performance-based incentives, comprehensive health and dental plans, a retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
