Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, analyzing their medical history and performing specific assessments to develop a personalized treatment plan.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings to patients and their families, incorporating their input to establish achievable rehabilitation goals.
• Execute treatment protocols with proficiency, regularly adapting these as necessary based on patients' progress and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated care, making timely consultations when required.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Manage your schedule effectively to meet productivity targets while also participating in marketing initiatives that promote our services in the community.
• Take an active role in departmental goals and education, shaping the future of physical therapy through professional development and mentorship of students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. As part of our team, you will work directly with a diverse group of patients, crafting tailored rehabilitation plans that address their unique challenges and promoting their return to optimal function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• A passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a similar role is not required, candidates with internships or clinical rotations in orthopedic settings will be favored. Compensation and Benefits
