Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate the mental health needs of clients entering the detox program. Utilize diagnostic tools and interviews to develop individualized treatment plans that include specific therapeutic interventions.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and substance abuse counselors, to provide holistic care and coordinate treatment strategies for optimal client outcomes.

• Respond to crisis situations with urgency and empathy, providing immediate support to clients. Apply de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions to stabilize clients in acute distress.

• Engage actively in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting resource access for those struggling with addiction and mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our detox center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals battling substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• Holders of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) are encouraged to apply.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
