Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that you can connect and communicate with patients effectively through our telehealth platform. Normal work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility expected to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to thoroughly understand each patient's cultural context, individual history, and unique experiences.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that reflect the needs and backgrounds of each client to ensure culturally informed care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions geared towards addressing and resolving mental health concerns while enhancing the overall well-being of patients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide coordinated care and ensure seamless treatment navigation for patients.

• Offer timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to mitigate immediate risk, demonstrating strong psychological resilience.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient records are up-to-date and accessible.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing to team decision-making and the continuous improvement of service delivery.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations relating to mental health therapy to enhance professional knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, specifically those that incorporate cultural competence in practice.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills, with a proven ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between USD 70,000 – 100,000.
