As a member of our team, you will work remotely, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while still being an integral part of our supportive community environment. Our structure emphasizes collaboration among multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive and coordinated care. The flexibility in our working hours, primarily Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is designed to be responsive to the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting trauma-informed assessments to gauge patients' backgrounds and develop tailored treatment plans.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process their experiences and build adaptive coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach, addressing both physical and mental health needs.
\n
• Delivering crisis intervention and immediate support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, as well as available community resources.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.
\n
• Participating in clinical consultations and ongoing training to stay informed about advancements in trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adults and adolescents facing various traumatic experiences, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a critical role in guiding these individuals through their recovery, reinforcing their strength and resilience as they navigate healing.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Kansas as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCSW, LCP, or LSCSW.

• A strong foundation of knowledge regarding trauma-related disorders and informed treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience\n

We welcome applicants with at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, who have demonstrated competency in trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions. Experience working in community health settings will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
