Job Description
Established, stable, and growing Commercial Real Estate firm is looking for a Controller. You'll lead the full accounting operation from the Denver office, supported by a team of 5-6 accountants you'll develop and guide.
\n \nWhat you'll own:
\n- Month-end close and financial reporting across a portfolio of property-level entities
\n- Tenant billing, recoveries, and annual CAM true-ups
\n- Treasury activity including collections, payables, and bank activity
\n- Accounting support for ground-up and redevelopment projects, including lender draws and project budgets
\n- Building better processes as the portfolio expands
\n \nWhat you bring:
\n- Several years of accounting for commercial property portfolios; retail a plus
\n- Daily, hands-on Yardi experience
\n- Experience leading and coaching an accounting team
\n- A degree in accounting or finance; CPA a plus
\n- Comfort with a fast pace, a heavy workload, and working closely with principals
\n- Willingness to be in the Denver office full time and travel to a regional office periodically
\n \nThis is a high-visibility leadership role for someone ready to own the numbers and grow with the business.
