Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage with clients through virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

• Assist clients in navigating their recovery journeys, providing support whether they pursue moderation or abstinence as per their preference.

• Maintain clinical engagement and rapport with clients, ensuring every interaction is nurturing and empathetic.

• Encourage the integration of community recovery support options like Alcoholics Anonymous and Smart Recovery as complementary to our therapeutic services.

• Participate in creating informative content, such as “Expert Insights,” in collaboration with our Content Manager, enhancing the educational resources available to our clients.

• Lead optional support groups, providing additional therapeutic outlets for community members.
\n
• Participate in monthly peer group meetings for professional development and sharing best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with adults who are seeking help to improve their relationship with alcohol. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, each bringing unique challenges and goals. As a counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping these individuals develop personalized treatment strategies that foster both mental well-being and addiction recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential; advanced degrees are preferred.

• Demonstrable training and experience with therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.

• Strong clinical engagement skills that reflect empathy and sensitivity toward clients’ needs and experiences.

• Understanding of harm reduction models and familiarity with various community recovery resources available to clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus the potential for additional bonuses.
