Key Responsibilities\n

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups in collaboration with experienced birth workers, enhancing the overall experience for families.

• Engage actively in community outreach activities aimed at promoting holistic wellness and fostering a sense of community among birthing individuals and families.

• Participate in clinical consultations and multidimensional co-learning spaces, contributing your insights to improve client outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with necessary clinical documentation, maintaining accurate and timely records of interactions and treatment plans.

• Deliver personalized behavioral health assessments, counseling, and comprehensive case management specifically tailored for Black birthing families.

• Collaborate with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, and doulas, to ensure integrated and quality care.

• Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility to meet evolving community and organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is specifically oriented towards serving Black birthing families within the Sacramento community. You will work with individuals navigating the unique challenges of childbirth and postpartum experiences. Your expertise will provide crucial support during these transformative times, ensuring families feel heard, understood, and empowered in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A valid California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with a richly diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while seeking assistance when necessary.

Preferred Experience\n
