Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of assigned clients.

• Effectively conduct assessments and treatment planning for family and child counseling, ensuring clients meet medical necessity and DSM V diagnostic criteria.

• Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups, including parenting classes and skill-building workshops, to enhance community support.

• Complete comprehensive documentation for client care, including case materials and program forms, in adherence to clinic policies and accreditation standards.

• Maintain accurate and timely charting and reporting of all therapeutic activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations regarding billable hours.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will directly impact children and families facing various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients who may experience anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and other mental health conditions, providing them with support and practical coping strategies. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Possession of a current and valid license in the state as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• A self-motivated approach with the capacity to initiate actions related to therapy billing hours and accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of hands-on clinical experience, ideally working with children and families in an outpatient or community-based mental health setting. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices will be highly regarded.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
