This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while primarily serving a student population within various school environments. The LCSW will collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and parents, utilizing various online platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for students to evaluate their mental health status, strengths, and needs, ensuring the formulation of appropriate treatment strategies.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), catering to the diverse needs of our client base.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, special education staff, and other professionals to develop and implement integrated care plans that ensure holistic support for students.

• Educate patients and their guardians regarding diagnoses, recommended treatment options, and medication management, facilitating informed decision-making.

• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions, using evidence-based modalities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Develop and maintain detailed treatment plans in coordination with the multidisciplinary treatment team, aligning with students’ personal goals and preferences for their care.

• Assist patients in navigating the often-complex mental health system, advocating for their rights, and addressing their broader needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational sessions, and engage in discharge planning meetings to ensure comprehensive follow-up care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role directly engages with a diverse population of students, which may include those struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, and other mental health disorders. The LCSW will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents, supporting not only their mental health but also enhancing their social skills and academic performance through targeted strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
