You are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring all standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and service are consistently met. Your leadership ensures operational excellence, team compliance, and a culture of exceptional guest service across the property.Job Description:Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesRecruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellenceDrive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadershipEstablish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goalsMaintain daily operations by overseeing staff workflows, updating seniority lists, conducting orientations, and facilitating retraining and compliance updatesTrack and maintain accurate administrative records including employee attendance, productivity logs, corrective counseling, and terminationsOversee department schedules to align staffing with occupancy demands, ensuring efficient coverage and productivityPrepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and assist in the budget planning process for Housekeeping and Uniforms operationsOversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications1-3 years of experience in Hospitality or Housekeeping operations; including leadership or progressive responsibility in staff scheduling and departmental complianceProven track record of effective decision-making under pressure and in dynamic environmentsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organizationAbility to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamicsCommitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace cultureProactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvementSkilled in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive resultsKnowledge of OSHA regulations, SDS handling, and biohazard cleanup proceduresAbility to access and input information using a moderately complex computer systemSkilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft TeamsRequirementsAt least 21 years of ageHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in related field preferredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsNonePhysical RequirementsOccasionally push/pull up to 100lbsOccasionally lift and/or carry up to 100lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsOccasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, twistRegularly sit and work at a desk or computerFrequently standing and walkingAbility to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephoneAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in personAbility to distinguish between shades of colorAbility to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterityAbility to ascend and descend stairsWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorOutdoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
