Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What We’re Looking For:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Current Louisiana SLP licensure (CCC-SLP or CFY accepted)
Prior experience within a school setting a plus, but not required
Strong collaboration and communication skills with both students and staff
Familiarity with IEP development, progress reporting, and conducting assessments
Ability to organize and manage caseloads efficiently

Role Highlights:

Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, adapting interventions to student requirements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to ensure holistic support
Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and comply with all state and district guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute relevant professional input
Encourage and foster communicative competence for a diverse student population
