Human Resources SpecialistThe Human Resources Specialist supports daily HR operations and helps ensure a positive, compliant, and efficient workplace. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, policy communication, and employee relations while maintaining confidentiality and supporting organizational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the recruitment process by posting jobs, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.Assist with onboarding and orientation for new employees, including preparing documentation and completing required forms.Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance.Administer HR programs such as benefits, leave tracking, and employee policy acknowledgments.Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace programs.Support employee relations efforts by helping address workplace concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.Assist with performance management, training coordination, and employee engagement activities.Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.Prepare HR reports, track key metrics, and support process improvements within the HR function.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Prior experience in human resources, recruiting, administration, or employee support is preferred. Knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and HRIS systems is beneficial.
