You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to create tailored interventions that support each child’s needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families across diverse backgrounds
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Adaptability and creativity in customizing therapeutic approaches

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess students’ functional abilities and recommend strategies for classroom success
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists
• Keep accurate and timely documentation of progress and services
• Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences
• Educate staff and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment recommendations
