Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience providing occupational therapy within a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of assessments, IEP development, and implementation
• Ability to work effectively with students across K-12th grade, tailoring interventions to diverse needs
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
• Passion for supporting student growth and participation in educational activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify students’ needs and document findings in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions, emphasizing participation in classroom and school routines
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in both individual and group settings
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student goals
• Maintain accurate records of services delivered and progress monitoring
• Offer professional guidance to staff and parents regarding OT strategies that support classroom learning and daily living skills
• Adapt materials and modify environments to improve student access and independence
