Here, our LPCs conduct assessments, engage with patients, and participate in team meetings. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to align therapy goals with the individual needs of patients.
\n
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, support staff, and family members to monitor and discuss patient progress.
\n
• Develop and provide a tentative schedule that includes appointments, home visits, and observations to supervise and assess work advancement.
\n
• Coordinate home visits which may include in-home patient observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews to gather pertinent data for treatment.
\n
• Implement and oversee adherence to the comprehensive program plan, ensuring that therapeutic methods are effective and aligned with best practices.
\n
• Attend and actively contribute to Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to share insights and strategies relevant to patient care.
\n
• Complete and submit monthly and quarterly progress notes, keeping accurate records of patient development and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Organize and facilitate training to equip team members with the necessary skills for effective program implementation and documentation.
\n
• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits to ensure patient needs are continuously met.
\n
• Act as a liaison within the mental health community, advocating for patient needs and supporting the development of new programs.
\n
• Assist in creating and updating procedures and training materials to enhance program effectiveness and staff competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LPC will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth experiencing various mental health challenges. You will utilize your skills to develop tailored treatment plans that address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your expertise in family and couples therapy will also support clients in navigating relational dynamics, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling setting, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma is highly valued.

• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
