Work Environment\n

As a fully remote facility, our telehealth practice fosters an innovative and accessible work environment. Our team uses advanced digital platforms ensuring that counselors can effectively meet with clients from their own offices or homes, promoting flexibility while prioritizing work-life balance. This position involves working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for stable scheduling in a supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing trust and rapport to facilitate effective therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, discussing stability, monitoring upcoming appointments, and planning for discharge when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on their personal development and healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each client, including progress notes, treatment updates, and necessary administrative tasks utilizing systems like RMS and PIMSY.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring client safety and immediate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse outpatient population, including adults, children, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges. You will work with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. Your expertise will be crucial in creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status in Virginia.

• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working in a clinical outpatient setting.

• Proficiency in using technology, including Excel, RMS systems, and telehealth platforms for client management.

• Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families in a clinical context.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in mental health care.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also independently managing a caseload.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer various bonus opportunities, recognizing exceptional performance and contributions to the practice.
