The Hadestown 2nd National Tour is seeking Non-AEA individuals for the stage management team for Year 3 of the tour, with NYC rehearsals starting mid-September 2026. Production Stage Manager : starting at $1,600/week, commensurate with experience Assistant Stage Manager : starting at $900/week, commensurate with experience Benefits MEC Plan offered Transportation/Housing/Per Diem Provided with first move to Bartlesville, OK. Producer-provided housing single or double with sliding per diem at employee’s discretion. Timeline Studio Rehearsals (NYC): start mid-September 2026 Tech Rehearsals (Bartlesville, OK): early October 2026 A successful candidate for a member of the Stage Management Team will have: Great attention to detail, proactive, self‑motivated and passion for learning Strong verbal communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone High level of interpersonal skills and flexibility Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and responsibility Ability to assess and manage multiple competing priorities and work well under pressure Excellent time management, problem solving and analytical skills; Ability to complete multiple projects successfully Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs+, including up and down stairs A passport valid for international travel (valid through at least 6/30/2027) In addition to these, a successful candidate for an Production Stage Manager will have: Minimum of 3 years of professional stage management experience, preferably on tour Prior theatrical touring experience ("bus & truck" / one‑night stops) A professional, calm, and positive demeanor with decisive leadership style and the ability to manage a company in close quarters over a sustained touring period Strong working knowledge of theatrical industry standard lighting, video, sound, and rigging systems and protocols Experience working with and leading local union crews including IATSE stagehands and Teamsters Ability to maintain artistic integrity of the production according to the director’s vision, as well as the ability to manage the rehearsal process both in studio in New York City and for any replacements while on tour #J-18808-Ljbffr Playbill, Inc.
