Business Development Manager

A leading luxury bath and plumbing manufacturer based in Hialeah, FL is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive specification sales and regional commercial growth across the South Florida territory.In this key commercial role, you will lead outreach and strategic partnerships across top Architecture & Design (A&D) firms, interior design studios, commercial developers, and regional distributors. 

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of specification sales, a strong network within the South Florida A&D community, and a true hunter mindset focused on securing high-value residential and commercial project wins.

What You Will Do 

• Actively prospect and build strategic partnerships with top A&D firms, interior designers, developers, and commercial contractors to specify luxury bath and plumbing products. 
• Drive outbound sales initiatives, identify upcoming luxury residential, multi-family, and hospitality developments, and track projects from concept to completion. 
• Deliver compelling product presentations, AIA/IDCEC Continuing Education (CEU) courses, and showroom walkthroughs to position the brand as the premier partner in the region. 
• Manage the end-to-end specification lifecycle alongside general contractors, sub-contractors, and supply houses to ensure specified products are ordered, supplied, and installed. 
• Represent the brand at local industry trade shows, networking events, and A&D chapter functions (ASID, AIA, IIDA) to maintain high market visibility. 
• Analyze pipeline metrics, track project specifications, and manage account activities within the CRM to support sales forecasting and revenue goals.

What We Are Looking For 

• 4+ years of B2B specification or field sales experience within luxury building materials, plumbing fixtures, surfaces, tile/stone, or luxury home finishes. 
• Established, active relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and commercial contractors across South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach). 
• Proven ability to open doors, prospect new opportunities, negotiate terms, and close high-value project specifications independently. 
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, luxury bath trends, construction project lifecycles, and plumbing mechanics. 
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be based in South Florida, open to daily field mobility across the territory, and able to work out of the Hialeah, FL facility as required.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Direct experience conducting CEU presentations to A&D firms and hosting industry trade events. 
• Familiarity with tracking commercial and high-end residential construction project pipelines through CRM platforms.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
