Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy for individuals, families, and couples.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality and client safety.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care strategies and share best practices in mental healthcare.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and remaining informed about the latest research in the mental health field.

• Contribute to the establishment of a supportive and nurturing therapeutic environment that empowers clients to achieve their mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working primarily with diverse individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care, understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients, and working towards effective solutions tailored to their circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally within a clinical environment.

• Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.

• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and client caseload. Additionally, you will have access to comprehensive benefits including dental, vision, and health insurance, as well as malpractice insurance coverage. We provide support for billing and documentation tasks to lighten your administrative workload, allowing you to focus on client care. A substantial sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates as well.
