Bookkeeper / Title Clerk
Worktrux, LLC – Birmingham, AL

Worktrux is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Title Clerk with dealership experience to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys staying organized, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately
- Handle Alabama title work through ALVIN
- Process dealer paperwork and maintain compliance
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Process sales paperwork using Dealertrack DMS
- File Alabama sales tax and other tax obligations through My Alabama Taxes (MAT)
- Assist with monthly bookkeeping and reporting
- Organize and maintain deal jackets and accounting records
- Communicate with banks, customers, tag offices, and vendors as needed
- Support the sales and management teams with accounting and administrative tasks
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous automotive dealership bookkeeping and/or title clerk experience
- Experience using ALVIN
- Experience with Dealertrack DMS
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Experience filing through My Alabama Taxes (MAT)
- Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
- Accounting or bookkeeping background
