Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Happy Body Therapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and collaboratively designing tailored treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Educating patients on proper techniques for exercises and use of therapy equipment, emphasizing safety and effectiveness.
• Implementing hands-on therapies such as massage, joint mobilization, and other modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Assisting patients with mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, and orthotics, ensuring their confidence and independence.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, tracking progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving goals.
• Providing guidance and resources to patients and their families regarding home exercises and ongoing care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse range of patients, from children with developmental issues to adults recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions. You will engage with individuals facing unique challenges and barriers to movement, creating personalized and compassionate care approaches that can effectively meet their specific needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in New Jersey.
