Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Joint Journey, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial consultations to assess patient needs and understanding their medical histories.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating tailored treatment plans that align with patients' goals.
• Instructing patients in therapeutic exercise techniques and ensuring they understand proper usage to prevent injury.
• Applying hands-on treatments including manual therapy techniques, modalities, and therapeutic massages to promote patient recovery.
• Assisting patients in using mobility equipment, thereby enhancing their independence and safety at home.
• Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records, documenting their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing guidance to patients and their families about at-home treatment options and preventive exercises.

Your work will predominantly engage diverse populations, including children, adults, and seniors facing various challenges, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including patient documentation software.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
