As a Physical Therapist, you will engage with patients in their residences, providing tailored treatment plans that consider their individual circumstances and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in their home environments, focusing on recovery from injuries, surgeries, or managing diseases.
• Conduct thorough assessments to establish personalized treatment plans, utilizing techniques such as exercises, stretches, hands-on therapy, and specialized equipment.
• Document all treatment sessions, monitor patient responses, and track progress meticulously to adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers about rehabilitation techniques and the use of any assistive devices.
• Continuously reassess and redefine therapeutic goals based on patient progress and feedback.
• Participate in professional development to stay updated with the latest practices, through workshops and continuing education programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be supporting a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors with various medical conditions and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.
• Flexibility and adaptability in managing a dynamic work environment and diverse patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, candidates with two years or more in physical therapy are preferred.
• Experience in home health settings or working with varied diagnoses will be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
